IC PERMISSIONS PHYSICAL CONTACT // Totally fine. York's not exactly the most touchy feely guy but while someone getting all up in his personal space might get a weird look, he's not overly bothered by it, either. Friendly handshakes, claps on the shoulder, all of that he's perfectly comfortable with. Hugs and stuff he's cool with too though he's not going to understand someone who doesn't know him very well trying to give him a hug. ROMANCE // You're welcome to try but this is almost definitely not happening. York's coming fairly fresh off the very messy ending of a relationship, and by very messy I mean his girlfriend's dead and he may feel a lot of guilt about her death even if it was absolutely not his fault. He will make zero romantic commitments but he might be a bit of a flirt and will be pretty happy to flirt around as long as everyone understands that nothing's really going to come of it romantically. INTIMACY & SEX // Relatively comfortable with physical intimacy and sexual intimacy. It depends largely on who he's interacting with, but the whole cruising for casual sex thing really isn't his type of scene, and he's not really actively looking for that. Still though if that's where the interactions between him and someone else are headed and the chemistry is present, he has no real qualms over casual sexual intimacy, and likewise won't bother beating around the bush with turning down someone he's not interested in. He's going to need some development and build up to it either way, as he's still very much hurting over the loss of his ex, and while he might not always turn down random casual sex he's pretty unlikely to say yes. VIOLENCE & DEATH // Fights are great! He's a very capable space marine super soldier, consistently one of the highest ranking among a team of monsters, and especially armored he's a pretty formidable opponent. I prefer talking out any fights. The killing part is pretty dependent and is something I would definitely prefer talking about. TELEPATHY, MIND CONTROL, MYSTICAL MAGICAL STUFF // Go for it, but please talk to me about it. York is a fairly guarded individual and prefers to keep himself at arm's length while appearing warm and friendly, and generally likes to appear less knowledgeable than he actually is. He's honestly still going to be able to remain fairly relaxed in the face of someone literally able to invade his mind to call out his bullshit, though he won't be all too pleased about it, either. Mind control or anything directly related to actively messing with his head rather than just sort of seeing what's there, he'd react a lot more negatively to. SENSITIVE TOPICS // York does suffer from some amount of PTSD but his major things are grief, depression, and a fuckton of survivor's guilt. While not directly relevant to his character, the nature of his canon tends to mean dealing with topics of physical and mental torture. OOC PERMISSIONS FOURTHWALLING // Nope. Not really into the whole grappling-with-the-reality-of-being-fictional thing. THREADJACKING // Not if the thread's private or locked, but otherwise, go for it. BACKTAGGING // Life happens, backtagging is great! Even if we've discussed where a thread would've gone so we can continue playing out their CR without having to wait for a thread, I'm perfectly happy to continue backtagging until it's done.
